# Small Files (Site Verification)

Small files are mainly used for website verification, such as **Baidu Webmaster Tools** or **Google Search Console**.

One common verification method is to upload a small text/HTML file to the root directory of your site.

## Example: Google Site Verification

After adding your site to **Google Search Console**, you will see an option to download an HTML verification file under the **“Recommended verification methods”** tab:

1. Download the verification file.
2. In **Creght Dashboard → Website → Small Files**, click **Upload** and select the file you just downloaded.

Once the file is uploaded, return to **Google Search Console** and click **Verify**.

Google will check the uploaded file on your server to confirm that you own the site.

## Notes

- Small files are typically only used for verification.
- The file size is usually less than **1 KB**, so Creght restricts upload size accordingly. If you have special requirements, please contact our support team.
- If you need to upload **assets** such as images or videos, please upload them directly in the editor under the corresponding element settings.
